The Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy’s mission is to conserve and steward the lands and waters of the Mohawk and Hudson River Valleys for the benefit of people and the environment.
We are delighted to announce our latest acquisition, a 54-acre property in the hamlet of Alplaus in Glenville, New York. This property will open on July 15, 2025, as the MHLC’s 23rd preserve – our first preserve in Schenectady County.
MHLC is thrilled to have Eleanor McAden and Nuala Breen join the team as Summer Land Stewards. The duo has done a fantastic job, knocking out project after project, even on the hottest days of the season. If you haven't had the chance to work alongside them on the trails, read about them here.
