25 Years of Conservation: A Celebration

Thursday, September 14 | 5:30 PM | The New Thacher Park Center

Join us at our annual party to benefit the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy!

This year’s special celebration will commemorate the Conservancy’s 25 years of conservation in the Capital Region. We are delighted to hold this year’s event in honor of the Conservancy’s conservation partners Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission, Land Trust Alliance, The Nature Conservancy, Open Space Institute, and Scenic Hudson, and in recognition of our 25th Anniversary Honoree Matt Bender, for his extraordinary commitment to MHLC.   With your support, and with our strategic alliances with our partners, MHLC has been able to conserve 5,000 thriving acres of natural lands across the Capital Region. These indispensable collaborations have allowed MHLC to grow into a regional land trust that is able to act quickly and decisively to protect our region.  And with your continued support, we are poised for great success through the next 25 years!

The festivities begin at 5:30, and we’re preparing for a lovely evening with conversation, laughter, and a celebration of over 5,000 acres conserved in our region. We’ll enjoy dinner catered by Garden Bistro 24, beverages by Capital Wine and Indian Ladder Farms Cidery and Brewery, live classical guitar music from William David Simcoe, sound by Pro Sound Associates, and decorations from Indian Ladder Farms. The evening will also include an unprecedented raffle opportunity (see below for prizes and details!), and a special tribute to the individuals who make this silver anniversary possible—all as we look out from the Helderberg Escarpment over the spectacular landscapes that we have conserved together.

Please mark your calendar today and join us for the biggest celebration of our 25th year!
