The beauty of the Mohawk and Hudson River Valleys inspires reflection and gratitude.
Help MHLC protect the natural wonder of the Capital Region for generations to come.
Join us for the season of giving in 2017.
Twenty-five years ago, thanks to a group of dedicated individuals joined by a dream and a drive, the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy was born. And for twenty-five years, generations of Capital Region residents have shared and sustained that dream. Each friend, supporter, volunteer, donor, has made a difference.
This holiday season, we ask you to support your local land trust. Please make a contribution and say yes to a future for our region with clean water to drink, fresh air to breathe, and plenty of green open spaces in which to trek and reflect.
Make a new gift in 2017, or increase your annual gift by 25%, and be entered into a raffle for two round-trip airplane tickets anywhere in the continental U.S.!
Great news! In celebration of the end of the Conservancy’s 25th anniversary year, we have received a wonderful and unexpected anonymous pledge for $25,000. If we raise $25,000 in donations by December 31st, the donor will match it, dollar-for-dollar. This doubles the impact of your gift!
In 25 years we have come so far, but there’s still far to go. In 25 years we have protected 5,000 acres of land across the Capital Region. But we have a vision of connecting the Catskill Mountains to the Adirondacks through a corridor of protected land, forever preserving the character of our region, protecting our food and water sources, and providing habitat and green spaces for future generations.
In 2018, the Conservancy is poised to make significant progress on those conservation goals throughout Albany, Schenectady and Montgomery Counties. And the future of conservation in our region is bright.
Please make your gift today. Remember, if we reach $25,000 in donations by December 31st, your gift will be matched. Please help us reach this goal- thank you!
