On Wednesday, March 23 MHLC Preserve Stewards, Volunteers, Board and Staff celebrated the beginning of trail season with a kick-off party at the
remarkable Octagon Barn in Knox, NY. Guest speaker, Laurel Gailor from Cornell Cooperative Extension, presented valuable information about invasive species and how best to identify them. Laurel is the Coordinator of the Capital/Mohawk PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management).
Our volunteers and stewards are the heart of MHLC, and we could not be successful without you. Thank you for your hard work and support, we look forward to another exciting season!
