We are delighted to announce our latest acquisition, a 54-acre property in the hamlet of Alplaus in Glenville, New York. This property is MHLC's 23rd preserve and its first in Schenectady County.

Meet the Summer Land Stewards

MHLC is thrilled to have Eleanor McAden and Nuala Breen join the team as Summer Land Stewards. The duo has done a fantastic job, knocking out project after project, even on the hottest days of the season. If you haven't had the chance to work alongside them on the trails, read about them here.

New Preserve Signage Acknowledges Indigenous Land

In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, we are proud to announce the completion of our preserve-wide kiosk sign update. This project was made possible with funds from a Stewardship and Resource Management Grant awarded to MHLC by the Land Trust Alliance.
