Internships (Position available Summer 2018)
MHLC is currently seeking applications for the Lisa Lyon Evans Conservation Internship. This Conservation Intern will assist with a diverse set of land stewardship projects, from managing MHLC lands and recreational trails, to assisting with conservation projects, leading volunteer groups through trail work days and providing office and event support. The Conservation Intern has the opportunity to learn about the dynamic workings of a land trust and nonprofit organization while becoming familiar with local ecology and land management strategies. Do you have an interest in joining the Conservancy’s Board of Directors? We are looking for individuals who will help build on the organization’s success in conserving open space throughout the Capital Region. Board members serve a 3-year volunteer term and must have a passion for conservation. Call or email for additional information.

Volunteers are needed to help maintain our 16 Preserves that are open to the public and located in Albany and Montgomery Counties. Preserve Steward positions are open at several of the preserves.
