Nestled within a small neighborhood, this short woodland trail is incredibly scenic with tall conifers tucked along the Vly Creek.

The Bender Melon Farm Preserve is a mix of forest, fields and wetland areas, and includes a .57 mile easy trail through lovely woodland.

Just a short distance from the base of the Heldeberg Escarpment, the beautiful Bennett Hill Preserve rises from the surrounding lands.

The Bozen Kill Preserve offers easy stream side walks to small waterfalls and a longer trail system for those looking for a more moderate walk in the woods.

The 0.66-mile Fisher Trail, a part of DEC's Five River Environmental Center, is accessible for people with mobility disabilities. The trail runs through the 35-acre Fisher Blvd property that MHLC acquired in 2018. MHLC then granted New York State a conservation easement on the land.

The Fox Preserve is a rolling 2-mile walk in the woods along Shaker Creek overlooking the Mohawk River.

Weaving through a quiet forest, this preserve offers great views of the Onesquethaw Creek and glimpses of some of the area's unique geologies.

Located in the foothills of the Helderberg Mountains, the Holt Preserve has trails of moderate terrain through dense woodlands.

Keleher Preserve is known for feeling the most remote, with forested trails and varied terrain perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, and more.

The flat one-mile trail at Mosher Marsh provides serene wetland views and a vast number of bird species and other wildlife.

Located along the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail, the Noonan Preserve provides a serene resting spot just above the Normans Kill Falls.

The Normans Kill East trail is a short but scenic walk through forests alongside the Normans Kill.

This scenic loop trail takes you deep into the forests and fields to the Normans Kill.

The short trail loop of the 20-acre Phillipin Kill Preserve traverses the woodland hills and winds along the wetlands that protect the waters of the Phillipin Kill creek.

The heavily wooded Winn Preserve features extensive trails that wind throughout the karst geology along the Helderberg Escarpment.
