The bog boards at Van Dyke need some improvements, so we'll be spending the morning replacing boards and footers as needed to keep the trail elevated through low wet areas. Work will involve carrying in lumber, removing old boards and installing new ones using both hand tools and power tools. We will also be working on improving a drainage ditch and installing a couple water bars to divert water flow.

We will be installing several water bars on a steep section of the green trail to help divert the flow of water off of the trail, helping to combat a chronically muddy section. Work will involve digging, moving soil, and installation of water bars.
